For those who don’t know, the Jewish term aliyah represents the return of worldwide Jewish people to Israel.
Still others are unaware of a startling promise God made about the End Times: in the last days, God will bring all Jews worldwide back to their homeland, the State of Israel (Isaiah 11:10-12.)
And since 1949, the Jewish Agency has been aiding this prophecy.
The Jewish Agency is a quasi-government organization that has helped Israelites worldwide make aliyah. In 1949 and 1950 alone, they moved more than 51,000 Jews from Yemen during Operation Magic Carpet. Since then, they’ve assisted many more Yemenite Jews to migrate back to the Holy Land.
And on Sunday, the agency conducted the last of its operations out of Yemen.
During the operation, a Jewish family of five previously living in the rebel-controlled Yemenite capital Sanaa was brought home to Israel.
“From Operation Magic Carpet in 1949 until the present day, the Jewish Agency has helped bring Yemenite Jewry home to Israel. Today we bring the historic mission to a close,” said Jewish Agency Chairman Nathan Sharansky.
In 2013, the Jewish Agency conducted its historic final aliyah from Ethiopia to Israel.
It seems the Jewish migration to the Holy Land is coming to an end.
Could that mean the finalization of the prophesied return of the Jews? Maybe.
I don’t know about you, but I’m looking up. Because I believe once the last plane touches down in the final Jewish aliyah, the Church’s flight will begin.
